In urban environments, many young trees, shrubs, and hedges face problems with drought and oxygen deficiency. The AirMax ventilation system offers an effective solution for providing extra oxygen.
The AirMax ventilation system, placed deeper in the tree pit, ensures additional airflow to the deeper roots. The tubes in this system are extra perforated as standard for increased diffusion. Additionally, the tubes are also available with a durable polyester woven filtering cloth (nylon cloth), which has a much longer lifespan than coconut.
In the first years after planting, a tree requires underground ventilation and watering. After this period, the system becomes redundant, leaving plastics behind in the soil. To prevent this, AirMax Bio is used: a compostable ventilation system made from corn starch and bioplastic granulate Cradonyl®. All components of the ventilation system are biodegradable and are naturally decomposed within 3 to 5 years.
